Ayahnya, Honatsu, ngirimin dia sebuah kotak hitam, karena nggak tahu-menahu akhirnya kotak itu oleh Haruaki disimpan ke dalam gudang, pada malamnya Haruaki mendengar suara gaduh di dalam dapur, saat ia kesana ia menemui seorang gadis yang berambut putih panjang dan "naked" (enakan pake bahasa inggris buat kata satu ini xD), oke back to the topic, gadis tadi mencuri makanan Haruaki dari dalam kulkas. Gadis itu adalah human-formnya alat kutukan yang berbentuk kotak hitam, dia bernama "Fear in Cube". Haruaki dan Fear bertarung bersama untuk melawan alat-kutukan lainnya beserta pemiliknya menggunakan alat penyiksa milik Fear
